Classroom Lecture Capture

Faculty can record lectures in select UWL classrooms using Kaltura Capture (via Canvas), Zoom, or Microsoft Teams. Email the Eagle Help Desk with your room number and preferred tool to get started.

Faculty teaching in select UWL classrooms can record their lectures using the tools below.

Lecture Capture Tools

Kaltura Capture is available through Canvas and allows you to record your screen, webcam, or both directly from your computer. Recordings are saved to your Canvas course media library and can be shared with students.

Zoom and Microsoft Teams also support lecture recording. Recordings can be saved locally or to the cloud and shared through Canvas.

Get Started

Email helpdesk@uwlax.edu with your classroom location and preferred tool. ITS will verify the room is configured and send setup instructions.
