Stellic - Student Guide - Plan Your Path
Plan Your Path
- Log into Stellic (https://uwlax.stellic.com/)
- From the left side menu, select Plan Your Path.
- The terms will appear in the center of the screen allowing you to "drag and drop" courses from the right side to the term the course is being planned for. You can drag and drop courses between terms to optimize your plan. You'll see a warning message if you do not have the prerequisites for the course, or if the course is not typically offered during that term.
There are three ways that you can search for courses to add to your planner. You can click on each of the tabs on the right of your screen to see these: Remaining(1)/Progress(2)/Search Courses(3)
- Remaining is a list of courses or requirements that you have not yet planned or completed from your overall degree requirements.
- Progress is a list of courses or requirements for any programs that you have added, either officially or unofficially, to your plan. The list of courses is displayed under the respective programs.
- Search Courses allows you to search for any course that UWL offers. You can filter your search based on requirements, term offered, instructors, and more.
You can drag and drop whichever courses you want to take into the semester in which you plan to complete them on the left. Placeholder courses are shown with a dotted line in your planner, indicating that there are multiple course options for that requirement. Selecting the placeholder brings up a list of possible courses to fulfill the requirement. Placeholder courses are helpful when there is a requirement that needs to be filled and you do not unknown at the time. You can drag and drop the entire placeholder into a future semester to indicate that you plan to take one of the course options, but you are unsure which exact course that you will take.
