*Important Note: Applicants or recently admitted students will not have access to Office 365 through UWL, which includes email, until they have started the enrollment process for classes as a student (matriculated) and/or are a current student. 

1. Visit https://www.office.com/ and enter in your UWL email address (NetID@uwlax.edu). Please note you will then be redirected to UWL's login screen.
2. When prompted, enter in your UWL NetID password. Your email address will already be in the username box and should be left there. If you have forgotten or need to reset your UWL NetID password visit www.uwlax.edu/password.
3. Authenticate with your Okta device/method. 
4. Start the installation process by selecting "Install Office" found on the top right of the screen. 
5. Follow the onscreen instructions to download and install the software for your device.
6. When launching the software for the first time you will be asked to log in to activate Microsoft Office. Use your full UWL email address and NetID password to activate Office.

 Some information to be aware of when using Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus for Students.

• Students will be able to download and install Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus for Students on up to five personal devices.
• The software is available for Windows, Mac (MacOS 10.14 Mojave or higher), iOS 13 or higher, Android, and other mobile operating systems.
• Chromebooks are unable to download the software and can only use the online or web versions of Office 365. 
• The features of Office 365 ProPlus for Students mirror the same Microsoft Office 365 currently available on campus.
• Devices must check-in with Microsoft at least once every 30 days to retain their activation for Office.
• Students will lose access to the free software once they discontinue enrollment at UWL. They may purchase a personal subscription to Microsoft Office if they would like to continue to have access to the software after leaving UWL.
