Office 365 - Outlook - Enable/Disable Email Forwarding within the Web App
Important information about enabling the forwarding feature within your UWL email account settings via a web browser.
*Important Note:
- The "enable email forwarding" feature within your UWL email account settings will only work if you are forwarding to another UWL email account (@uwlax.edu). Due to security reasons, enabling this feature or auto-forwarding emails to another email account outside of UWL will not work.
1. Log into your UWL email account via a web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.).

2. Go to Settings (looks like a gear) and search for "forwarding" Then select Forwarding within the search options.
- *Note: This is also located under Settings > Mail > Forwarding.

3. Check the box next to Enable forwarding and enter in the UWL email address that you want your emails to be forwarded to. Then click Save.
- *Note: You can always keep a copy of the forwarded messages within your inbox by checking the box next to Keep a copy of forwarded messages.

4. To stop forwarding to another UWL email account, then un-check the box next to Enable forwarding and click Save.
