Printing - Malware Error Message
This article will walk you through how to fix an issue where a malware message appears every time you print to an HP printer from a Mac
If you are receiving a malware message (like the one below) when printing to an HP printer then you will want to follow the steps below.
Open the Self Service App and sign in
Search HP Printer then Install HP Printer Drivers - Remove and Reinstall.
Note: It is very important that you read the information provided when you click the install button.
Once the install completes then you may try printing again. If documents fail to print you may choose to Install the HP Printer Drivers - Additional Possibilities; however, it is possible there drivers are no longer available for your printer (check support.hp.com for more drivers).
