HR employee resources - Employee onboarding program - Navigating your checklist

This article will provide an overview and navigation of the employee onboarding checklists.
As a new or returning employee, you may receive several onboarding checklists.  The checklists are compartmentalized into sections that help Human Resources:
  • Collect personnel information to complete your enrollment in the payroll system.
  • Update or provide contact and emergency contact information.
  • Begin new employee resources set up.
  • Review any benefits for which the employee might be eligible. 
  • Provide you an overview of university resources and expectations. 
You will receive a notification email to either your personal email account, (for new employees or returning employees who have lost access to their, OR at your email account if you are a returning employee and have access to your UWL account.  Please check your spam/junk folder before contacting Human Resources if you have not received this onboarding checklist prior to your start date.  

After you have logged into the PeopleAdmin Records program, you will be presented with the set of tasks required to complete your onboarding experience. 

Your dashboard will look like this:


Each of the rows in your task list represents a task.  

Click on the "View" button to access the document or form.


After you have clicked on the item the document form will open and instruct you on how to complete the document.  Click the "Save Final" once you have completed the form. 


You will go through this same process for each task until each task is completed. 

Please make sure you complete every task assigned to you.
