Zoom - Customizing your Profile
Information and a link to Zoom Support about how to customize your Zoom account profile.
Your Zoom profile allows you to update your user information, including your name, personal meeting ID, email address, and more. Some of this information is displayed to other users in the account, such as your name, department, and job title.
- *Notes: Some settings can only be changed by an account owner or admin.
- UWL ITS is the Admin for UWL Zoom accounts, so your "First Name," "Last Name," "Display Name," "Department" and "Location" are not customizable through your UWL Zoom account settings since your name and status at UWL is provided by Records and Registration if a UWL student and by Human Resources if a UWL Faculty/Staff.
- However, you can always change your "Display Name" or rename yourself during a Zoom meeting with your UWL account. This option is located under "Participants." Then click on "More" next to your name and select "Rename" to rename or change your name for the Zoom meeting.
