HR employee resources - PeopleAdmin Applicant Tracking - Affirmative Action Approval
This article was developed to provide an overview of how the Affirmative Action Officer will receive information on an active recruitment requiring review before posting.
This article will provide the steps needed for Affirmative Action to review a Recruitment, take action on the Recruitment, and advance the Recruitment forward in the approval process.
Step 1 - Logging into People Admin
Step 2 - Navigate to the Recruitment requiring your attention
After logging into the PeopleAdmin System, you will be taken to your dashboard. Click on the title of the Recruitment in your "Inbox" that requires attention:
Step 3 - Reviewing the Recruitment
The next display that you will see is the Recruitment Summary page. The summary page provides you an overview of all the information that is occurring with the search. In addition to reviewing the entire recruitment, Affirmative Action should carefully scrutinize the Supplemental Questions, Required Documents, and Posting Documents sections.
Step 4 - Taking Action on the Recruitment
The final process for Affirmative Action is to either send back to a previous reviewer for action or advance the recruitment to Level 3 or Human Resources.
Please note, that a decision point is needed by Affirmative Action at this point. If the actual budgeted salary is greater than $50,000 annually, then the Recruitment must advance to Level 3. If the actual budgeted salary is below $50,000, then the Recruitment should advance to HR Final Review.
Budgeting information is shown below in summary for reference. Do note the arrow highlighting the section marking if Level 3 approval is needed:
The image below shows the upper right corner of the Recruitment screen indicating the orange "Take Action on Recruitment" button to advance:
