Canvas - How do I get a list of student emails and person ID's?

With New Analytics reports you can download a list of student emails and ID's. This can be helpful if you are using other programs that you need to import students emails and ID's such as iCliker or Akindi.

NOTE: Course needs to be published for this to be visible. It takes 24 hours to update with the latest student information. 

You can either enable New Analytics in your course navigation or you can find the button on the right side of your home page.

  1. Select New Analytics.
  2. Select the Reports tab.

  3. Find Class Roster in the list and select Run Report.

  4. Click Run Report. 
  5. This will download a CSV of your class.
