Business Services Resource - Incorrect Email in SFS Profile
This article summarizes how to resolve the issue that some former UW System students will have when they become employees within the UW System where their student email carries over to their employee position in the Shared Financial System (SFS).
Former students from UW System campuses may have their student email reflected as their primary contact email in their SFS profile. This can result in important notifications not being sent to or received by the correct employee email address. For example, this UWL employee's email reflected their student email address from UW-Stevens Point in the SFS User Request Authorization Form:
This can be resolved by updating the General Profile Information page in SFS as follows:
1. Log into SFS at https://portal.sfs.wisconsin.edu/.
2. Use the navigator icon in the top right to open the NavBar: Navigator menu and scroll down to My System Profile:
