D2L - v10.6.0 Pasting into HTML Editor
Pasting from a document into the HTML Editor.
To paste from a Word document or other application, you can use Ctrl+V (PC) or Cmd+V (Mac) to retain formatting.
To paste plain text, perform the following steps:
- copy text in original document
- paste into Notepad (PC) or TextEdit (Mac) - this removes all formatting
- copy that content from either Notepad or TextEdit
- use Ctrl+V or Cmd+V to paste into HTML Editor
NOTE: Previously the Paste from Word and Paste as Plain Text buttons displayed an error message stating that the browser doesn't support paste. The paste button has been removed from the HTML Editor so the error message no longer displays.
