Trouble logging into your WINGS guest account?

  • Ensure that you are going to the correct login page for guest access.
  • Make sure you have the correct Guest User ID.
    • Guest User IDs are usually the student's full Student ID number with _001 (or _002, _003_ etc.) at the end and they are not the student's NetID or username to their WINGS account.
    • Check to make sure that you are not adding any extra spaces anywhere when typing in or copying and pasting the Guest User ID.
  • Ensure that you are copying and pasting the correct password from your email.
    • Do not manually type the password in yourself since these guest WINGS passwords tend to be long and contain random characters.
    • This will also include not accidentally adding spaces at the beginning or at the end of the password when you have copied and pasted it from your email.
  • Clear your web browser's "all time" history, cache and cookies and then try logging in again.
  • Use a private or incognito window instead to log in with.
  • Use a different web browser to log in with.
  • Try a different device to log in with.
  • Have your student resend you a new password by selecting Send Guest New Password under the Guest User ID that is located within the "Guest Access" in WINGS.
    • Please note that any old passwords that were sent previously will not work anymore, so you will have to use the new password sent to your email.
    • You may have to send multiple new passwords to try out until one takes.
  • Have your student create a new WINGS guest account by sending you a different Guest User ID and password to try instead.
    • Follow the steps at the beginning of the KB article in order to create a new guest user account. To the top
