Navigate 360: What happens after progress reports are entered

A summary of the actions taken with in Navigate 360 after student alerts are entered.

If a progress report is entered, either through PRO@UWL (Navigate 360: PRO@UWL Notifications) or through the ad hoc process (Navigate 360: Submitting ad hoc progress reports), and a concern regarding the student's academic progress is entered, the following workflow is followed.

Workflow for notifications in Navigate

For certain alert reasons, students receive an automatically generated email message. Below are the texts of those email messages.

At risk of D/F

Hi student name,

Your instructor, instructor name, has indicated that you are at risk of earning a D or F in course number

We wanted to reach out with some steps that can help you to be successful in this course this semester.

  1. Talk to your instructor. Visit them during their office hours (check your syllabus!) Ask them what you can start doing to improve your grade and ask specific questions you have about the course material.
  2. Talk to your academic advisor. They can help direct you to tutoring resources or talk about course deadlines and policies.
  3. Set up tutoring. The Murphy Learning Center offers free tutoring to all UWL students.

We encourage you to take these steps as soon as possible, and to reach out directly to the person who provided the feedback for more information.

  • Click the My Docs icon from your Navigate 360 Student App, then select "Progress Reports"
  • Visit https://uwlax.guide.eab.com/app, and log in with your UWL credentials. Click My Docs from the left-hand toolbar, and then select "Progress Reports"

Lack of course engagement

Hi student name

Your instructor, instructor name, would like to see you more engaged in course number this semester. 

 Here are some ways to increase your engagement and successfully complete the course:

  • Talk to your instructor. Visit them during their office hours (check your syllabus!) Ask them what you can start being more engaged in the classroom and discuss with them specific questions you have about course material.
  • Check your syllabus and/or course Canvas site to make sure that you are completing all work on time and are not missing course meetings.

If you do not intend to increase your engagement in the course, talk to your academic advisor or instructor about possibly dropping the course this semester.

Direct to tutoring

Your instructor, instructor name, believes that you may benefit from tutoring to help you meet your goals in course number.

The Murphy Learning Center provides free tutoring for all UWL students in a variety of subjects and is available, both through appointment and on a drop-in basis.

 There are other tutoring services also available on campus for students who need additional support:
