Okta — Set Up Okta Verify on Windows and macOS

Instructions for installing and setting up the Okta Verify app on a UWL-owned or personally owned Windows or macOS computer, including download options for each device type, step-by-step account setup, and how to sign in using Okta FastPass once installed.

Important: Okta Verify (FastPass) on Windows and macOS only grants access on the computer where it is installed. To access Okta-protected apps on other devices, use the Okta Verify mobile app (iOS or Android) or a YubiKey.

Got a new phone? If you got a new phone and did not remove your Okta account beforehand, see Okta — Authenticator Removal Before Getting a New Phone (opens in new tab). Then contact the Eagle Help Desk (opens in new tab) or call 608-785-8774 to reset it via a quick video call.
