Stellic - Advisor Guide – Student Progress

Advisors can view a student’s academic progress, or their degree audit, by searching for a student and clicking on the student’s name in Stellic. You can search for a student in the Students tab. Below the student profile information, the default view of this page shows the Progress tab, which displays a student’s official degree audit.
  • Log into Stellic (https://stellic.uwlax.edu/)
  • From the left side menu, select Students. Search for a student name and select that student's name to pull up their profile. Scroll down to the Progress tab. You will see the following information:

  1. Progress/Plans/Courses/Requests:
    • Progress: This view shows the courses completed, to fulfill requirements in the student’s audit.
    • Plans: This view shows the courses that the student has planned by term.
    • Courses: This view shows a list of courses already taken, chronologically by term.
    • Requests: If the student has requested you to review their plan, this will show here.
  2. Official/Planned:The audit will show any programs (such as majors or minors) that the student has declared or added to their plan. Each program will have a breakdown of courses/units taken and planned and also the GPA specific to that program.
    • You can view the student’s progress in two ways:
      • Official Audit Progress which only shows classes already taken or registered.
      • Planned Audit Progress which includes classes planned out within Stellic, and courses already taken or registered. This view is helpful when determining if a student is on track to complete their requirements according to their plan.
