Accessing Your UWL Email
How to access your UWL email account by using a web browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and so on.
Welcome to UWL! Your UWL email account is now active. Here's how to access it:
Important to Know
- Your UWL email address is: username@uwlax.edu
- UWL uses Outlook for email (not Gmail)
- You'll need to verify your identity with Okta when logging in
How to Access Your Email
Option 1: UWL App Dashboard (Recommended)
- Go to myapps.uwlax.edu
- Enter your UWL username and password
- Complete the Okta verification on your phone or device
- Click the Office 365 icon to open your email
This dashboard gives you access to all your UWL applications in one place.
Option 2: From the UWL Website
- Go to uwlax.edu
- Click the Email & apps icon in the upper right corner
- Click Email, Microsoft 365 from the drop down menu
- Enter your full email address (username@uwlax.edu) and click Next
- Enter your password and click Sign in
- Complete the Okta verification on your phone or device
- Choose whether to stay signed in
- Click the Outlook icon to open your email
Option 3: Direct to Outlook
- Go to outlook.com
- Click Sign in
- Enter your full UWL email address (username@uwlax.edu)
- Enter your password when prompted
- Complete the Okta verification on your phone or device
- Choose whether to stay signed in
