Navigate: Viewing a student alert
How to view an alert previously entered for a student.
The option to review student alerts and progress reports is limited to certain roles in Navigate. If you do not have access to view these reports, but believe that you need it, please contact the Navigate Functional Lead.
1) Open the student's profile page by either:
- Finding their name on your advisee list on your Staff Home (Navigate: Staff Home Overview)
- Use the advanced search bar at the top of the Navigate page to search for the student.
2) You can view alerts and progress reports for a student in two places
From the History Tab on the student's profile
From this tab, you will be able to see a cumulative list of all appointments, alerts, cases, and progress reports this student has received. You can also use the toolbar to filter by type to narrow down the history to only alerts, appointment summary reports, cases, check-ins, or alerts.
To view the details, simply click expand arrow next to the title of that appointment, alert, etc.
From the right toolbar above the student's photo, this will show only current alerts on the student. Click the arrow to expand, then click the link to the alert.
You will be brought to the current alerts for the student.
