Navigate360: Overview of Progress Reports

An overview of the alert and progress report process at UWL.

UWL is committed to student success and providing students with early feedback regarding academic concerns is one aspect of retention efforts. The use of progress reports by all faculty/instructors is highly encouraged.

Please use the following Notification Index to help you decide if your concern should be entered through Navigate360, or reported to the Student Life Office.

Navigate360 Progress Reports

During the course of a semester, all instructors have the ability to enter progress reports on any students enrolled in their courses for whom they have a concern through an ad progress report Navigate360: Submitting ad hoc progress reports

  • If an instructor enters a progress report where a notification reason is selected, this will trigger a notification within Navigate360

During weeks 5 and 6 of the semester, instructors of selected courses (Navigate360: PRO Gateway+ Courses) will receive an email requesting progress reports for the students in their courses: Navigate360: PRO@UWL Notifications

What should I include in a progress report?

In addition to selecting the reason for your concern, please provide comments related to your observations about the student's academic performance in their classes; personal details, including health information, should not be included. Please see examples below.
