Wireless - Connecting to UWL-Eagle WiFi (iOS)

Learn how to connect your iPhone or iPad to the UWL-Eagle Wi-Fi network on campus. This article walks you through opening Wi-Fi settings, selecting UWL-Eagle, signing in with your NetID username and password, and trusting the network certificate to complete the connection.

How to connect an iPhone or iPad to the UWL-Eagle WiFi.

You will need your UWL NetID and password to complete these steps. If you don't have your NetID yet, visit the NetID and Password Setup article first.

  1. Find and open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad — it looks like a gray square with gears on it. Once you're in Settings, tap Wi-Fi.

  2. You'll see a list of available Wi-Fi networks. Tap on UWL-Eagle. When asked to sign in, enter your UWL email username (your NetID) and password, then tap Join.

  3. A message will pop up asking if you trust this network. This is normal — just tap Trust to finish connecting.

That's it — you're connected to the campus Wi-Fi! You should now be able to browse the internet on campus.
