Web Browser - Clearing Cache, Cookies, Browsing History

How to clear cache, cookies and browsing history for popular web browsers.

Google Chrome  

  1. Click on the 3 vertical dots on the upper right hand corner of the window. 
  2. Click on Clear Browsing Data.
  3. Check all the blue boxes, select time range (typically "all time") and then
  4. Click Clear Data.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click on the 3 horizontal bars on the upper right hand corner of the window.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. Click on Privacy & Security (left side column)
  4. Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data and click on Clear Data.
  5. Check the blue boxes and then Clear.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click on the 3 horizontal dots on the upper right hand corner of the window. 
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. Find the heading Privacy, search and services in the let column.
  4. Look for Clear browsing data (click in box "choose what to clear")
  5. Check the grey boxes, choose time range (all time) and click on Clear now.

Safari

  1. Click on the menu Safari.
  2. Click on Clear History...
  3. Select either last hour, today, today and yesterday or all history (all history)
  4. Click Clear History.
