Okta - Okta Verify App Setup (Windows & macOS)
Important: Okta Verify (FastPass) on Windows and macOS only grants access requests initiated on the computer it is installed on. It is necessary to use the Okta Verify App (iOS or Android) or a Yubikey to gain access to Okta protected apps on other devices.
Download and Install Okta Verify (Choose one of the options below)
UWL Owned (Windows)
Open Software Center
Search for and Install Okta Verify
UWL Owned (Mac)
Install Okta Verify from Self Service jamfselfservice://content?entity=app&id=48&action=execute
Personally Owned (Windows)
Download then install Okta Verify from https://uwlax-admin.okta.com/api/v1/artifacts/WINDOWS_OKTA_VERIFY/download?releaseChannel=GA.
Personally Owned (Mac)
Install Okta Verify from the Mac App Store https://apps.apple.com/us/app/okta-verify/id490179405
Once installed, Open Okta Verify

Next
Make sure https://myapps.uwlax.edu is entered, Next
Enter NetId or Email in the browser window that opens, Next
Enter Password
When one or more Security Methods (devices) are already setup on your account, you will be prompted to verify with one of them.
If this is the first device you are setting you you will receive "Your identity is verified" right away, close the browser tab
When prompted to Set up Windows Hello (on PC), select "Not now" if on a UWL-owned computer.
In the Okta Verify app, click your account name
Setup is finished
