Navigate360: Sending emails
Navigate360 offers email functionality that can be used to communicate with students.
Email types
Appointment Notifications/Reminders
A student can select to receive an email reminder for an appointment scheduled in Navigate360 (How to schedule an appointment in the Navigate App). The email reminder will be sent 24 hours before the student's appointment.
Notifications
Students who receive notifications as part of PRO@UWL (Navigate360: PRO@UWL Notifications) or an adhoc notification (Navigate360: Issuing an adhoc alert ) may automatically receive an email from Navigate360 directing them to helpful resources.
Individual emails to students (Navigate360: Sending individual emails)
Group emails to students (Navigate360: Sending group emails)
What email address does it appear that the message is coming from?
The email will be sent from your UWL email address (ie: netid@uwlax.edu).
When I send an email to multiple students at once, will they know that it was a mass message? Can they see the names, emails, or phone numbers of the other students?
No. The email will look like it was only sent to that one student. The student will not see other student names or emails.
If a student replies to the email, where will the reply be sent?
You will receive a student's response through Outlook, and it will also come to your Navigate360 Conversations (Navigate360: My Conversations) and a notification will appear in Navigate360 as well.
