Account - First Time Access for New Employees and Students

Guides new UWL students, applicants, and faculty/staff through their first steps for account access, including Okta setup for students and onboarding direction for new employees.

New to UWL? Use this guide to find the right first steps for your role.

New Students

New students will be prompted to set up their account and Okta when meeting with Admissions. See Okta — Initial Setup for Two-Factor Authentication (opens in new tab).

Applicants

Note: Applicants applying to UWL for the first time will only have access to WINGS for application purposes.

New Faculty and Staff

New faculty and staff will onboard with Human Resources, and then be directed to their department's Endpoint Tech to set up their password and acquire any IT equipment.
